The Experience
Reindeer Sleigh Ride
Meet your reindeer and enjoy this mini reindeer safari which includes a sleigh ride where you get to 'drive' the reindeer. Learn all about the animals and how the farmers work and maybe feed the reindeer. take a wonderful ride into picturesque woods (normally 2 adults or 1 Adult and two children per sleigh).
Snow Sliding
Climb the snowy hill and the elves will give you a 'snow slider' (round plastic sledge) so you can whiz back down. You use your legs to slow you down if you are going too fast and then see how far you can go at the bottom. The elves keep an eye on everyone to make sure one person goes at a time and there are no crashes. This activity is suitable for even the youngest of children.
Skidoo Adventure
Rev the engine and prepare to go. Adults can drive and children (strong enough to sit behind the parent and hold on - usual minimum age 8 yrs) can sit on the skidoo behind the parent. You follow a course through the trees, with younger children following behind in a sled pulled by a skidoo. Children in the sled must be accompanied by an adult. No children under 2 yrs old can participate in the skidoo safari.
Ice- Karting
Ice-karting is such fun! You race your small kart around a special track, learning to drive on the icy surface. Small children can go in the kart with an adult. Older children can drive a kart themselves.
Helping the elves
In Santa's Cottage there is a room with big tables, perfect for making Christmas decorations. Santa's elves will have all the materials you need and they will show you how to make lots of pretty things - you even take some home to put on your own Christmas tree.
Husky dog-sledding
learn the names of your husky dogs and learn how to drive the team as you head off with your sled. The number of dogs per sled varies from 4 - 6 and normally there are 2 people per sled with 1 person driving and one (or 2 small children) sitting in front as a passenger. The driver and passenger can swop places half way but to drive a husky sled, you must be at least 5 feet tall.
